HyperMac Portable External Battery Recharger

Apple has released the new HyperMac which are easily pocketable colored iPhone and iPod batteries. The goal was to be able to charge the following devices with an external battery for those long hauls where you might need a little extra juice. It's a little strange that Apple hasn't released such features to aid the battery life of their laptops but instead just their other portable devices. On a more positive note though, it supposedly charges any USB-powered device, which could come in handy for other fellow gadget heads who carry around several nerdy devices for various uses. How much battery the device provides to the iPhone and iPod haven't been confirmed yet. The device should still prove to be useful though. What do you guys think?
