RIM Offers "How to Create Super Apps" Webcast for Developers

A few days ago at MWC, RIM announced Super Apps using Twitter as an example and now RIM is holding a Super App webinar teaching developers how to create a BlackBerry app and entitle it to be a “Super App.”

In the webinar, you’ll learn everything you need to make your BlackBerry apps “Super.”

Here are the basic requirements in order to be a Super App for BlackBerry:
  • Design apps that are stickier, more intuitive, more engaging and more valuable to users
  • Maximize network efficiency and battery life with “always-on” apps that run in the background, quietly waiting for the right time to spring into action
  • Add custom menu items and data to the Inbox, Address Book and Calendar so your apps are always one click away
  • Leverage true push technology to deliver “just-in-time” data with audible notifications and customized messages
The Super App Webinar will be offered on Thursday, February 25th 2PM EST featuring Mike Kirkup, from Developer Relations at Research In Motion.
