Super Mario Galaxy 2 started life as an extension of the original game but information from Nintendo's San Francisco media summit makes it look like a full blown sequel, hence the name and numbering. Mark the date on your calendar, May 23rd is the release date. Take a look at their newest trailer and see what you think:
Yoshi, a blimp-style Yoshi, a drill attack, and a mixture of 2D and 3D gameplay? Seems like Nintendo is promising to deliver yet another must-have game for their console. Some might say this seems like more of the same typical Mario games but this definitely seems like a step-up. What do you guys think?
