Speculations are roaming the airwaves that Archos' Android-based phone tablet is having some difficulties. It seems that the company can’t get enough carriers to support its products.
Unfortunately the rumor has come to fruition, French daily Les Echos has reported that Archos’ has shelved the phone. Archos’ is hushed and is not divulging any information at the moment.
With this set back, Archos’ has decided to return its focus on a line of non-phone internet tablets, they have not completely given up on the Android-based phone tablet it could make a come back but for now its tabled. Word out of CeBIT seems to be painting a pretty grim picture.
