Saurik Update's Cydia: Improved Speed And Error Handling

Great news for all the iPhone/iPodTocuch jailbreakers and unlockers. It appears that Saurik has updated APT, which now has an optimized cache generator and has become more error tolerant in repository parsing. This means a lot less error screens when connecting to repositories in Cydia that might have an error at that particular moment, which used to end up causing Cydia users slow connections and sometimes even crashing them out of Cydia.

While its nothing major, it is highly recommended you update to gain some additional performance from Cydia. "Reloading" screens seem to move along much faster, and so far we have not seen or heard of any repository errors.

Head on over to Cydia and download the new APT update(s). In our experience, there were 2 APT files that needed to be updated:

• APT Strict (lib)
• APT 0.7 (apt-key)
