Tony Hawk's official Twitter account had a leaked image which revealed a picture of what appears to be a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game being played on the iPhone. The tweet that previously linked to the picture has been removed, but it was promised that "This is real & dropping soon." If this is all true, there may be a wave of skating games on the iPhone in the near future.
The image seemed to a show a level that looked fairly similar to the hangar level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (from back in the day.) Although it is seen in the image, it may not necessarily mean the iPhone version will be a full Pro Skater 2. It is likely to be a mixup of levels from previous skating games However, given the user interface seen in the image with the d-pad image and button layout, it does seem that the iPhone version will be similar to the old Tony Hawk franchise as opposed to the new direction Tony Hawk has been headed in, with his Tony Hawk: Ride. We'll keep an eye out and report any more news about the topic.
