According to Digitimes, HP Taiwan's Vice President Monty Wong has confirmed a webOS-powered tablet is due out in the market before the fiscal year ending in October. This further implies what we had heard earlier this month, including the fact more details will be forthcoming after the Palm acquisition is completed near the end of July. We won't be surprised if this comes to fruition since HP itself has gone on record numerous times as wanting to throw the onetime mobile-exclusive OS on everything from tablets to printers. So far, the words and whispers come about due to third-party sources neither of which are subjected to complete trust so we will have to see if HP releases any official news about this.
