In-flight entertainment isn’t probably the highest priority on everyone’s list but from this July, it might become a new point of differentiation between airlines. Bluebox Avionics recently announced its new Ai IFE system, which seems to involve just giving travelers an iPad to play around with while gliding through the skies. It “leverages the power, flexibility, and quality of the most advanced consumer device ever produced” and offers Bluebox’s proprietary security solution and tailor made apps for each airline. One international crrier has already signed up and more are expected to follow.
So how do you guys feel about having an iPad provided to you when you board a flight? Share your thoughts and comments below. Seems like a good idea for those who are pretty ech savvy but I am sure there will a generation of people who wont care or know what to do with it. Time will tell though!
