Apple iPhone 4 Pre-Order Issues? Head To The Store!

Although the iPhone 4 pre-orders opened up much earlier today, the situation seems to indicate a tragedy. Many people are complaining that their iPhone 4 pre-orders aren't going through. Everyone, customers and employees alike seem to be experiencing a great deal of frustration. AT&T's servers seem to be completely messed up in the United States and since Apple's own online order process has to ping those to check on your contract status, neither option is currently working. Employees at local stores are facing similar issues and aren't even able to fully process pre-orders in store due to systems being overwhelmed. The worst part of it all it seems that no one seems to exactly know when thing swill be back to normal. Looks like the the inability to select a white model isn't the only frustration of the day.

To try and resolve their side of things, Apple has opened a message asking customers to save their information to their Apple ID and make an appointment with a specialist at the nearest Apple Retail Store. How's the whole pre-order deal working out for you? Drop a comment below.

UPDATE: Apparently Best Buy has opened pre-orders as well, even for white units. The Apple Store App allows you to also pre-order the iPhone 4 but at full price (no contract)
