Apple To Release Next Generation iPhone On June 18th?

Unlimited Online backup for 4.95/month

WWDC, 2010 is supposed to kick off at Moscone Centre in San Francisco tomorrow, and Apple's CEO Steve Jobs is expected to announce the next generation iPhone 4G / HD.

Sources at BGR have posted that Apple's next generation iPhone 4G / HD might release later this month on June 18th. Their prediction is based on the confirmations received from multiple AT&T store reps that their sales quotas for the month of June are ridiculously high. Yes, this means the next generation iPhone 4G / HD is confirmed to launch in June, not July.

According to BGR, if the iPhone 4G /HD is launched in the last week of June, on Friday the 25th, the stores won’t be able to meet the new sales quotas (in-store orders don’t count as they don’t get recognized until the customer picks them up).
We have heard stores having a 25-30% increase in their sales quota, so we’d like to think the next Apple iPhone will launch on Friday, June 18th.
