MuscleNerd has confirmed via Twitter that the iPhone 4 will be unlockable. Unlock for iOS 4.0 (formerly known as iPhone OS 4), baseband 05.13.0x, 05.12.01 is ready and will arrive next week (possibly even for iPhone 4).
Dev-Team has had this exploit for months now and they have been waiting for a big release. Now that the time has come, the unlock that they have developed with that exploit is able to unlock iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS and possibly iPhone 4 users will be able to unlock their iPhone running OS 3.1.3 baseband 05.12.01 and iOS 4.0 baseband 05.13.0x.
The iOS 4 firmware is expected to be released this Monday and iPhone 4 is hitting the shelves on Junes 24th. So, expect the jailbreak and unlock tools for iPhone 4, iOS 4.0 baseband 05.12.01, baseband 05.13.0x soon after the availability of iPhone 4.
