White iPhone 4 Delayed; Apple Blames It On Manufacturing Problems

Apple recently posted an official statement on their site that says the white iPhone 4's have been "more challenging to manufacture than expected." and therefore won't be available until late July. Not much more information was given so it looks like those of you who have been waiting to get the white version of the new iPhone will have to wait a little bit longer. The statement does help explain why no one was allowed to pre-order the white colored specific iPhone - because they weren't actually made.

We don't know what the challenge in making the white models may be but Apple had some unforeseen problems somewhere in the production line that caused these issues to arise. Either way, Apple says that the "more popular" black models are good to go and will be ready in stores tomorrow.
