Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S) Coming To AT&T On July 18th For $199

AT&T has just announced that the Samsung Captivate - the AT&T version of the Galaxy S - will be available for purchase on July 18th (only 10 days away). The Captivate sports a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 4" WVGA Super AMOLED display, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 5 megapixel camera with 720p recording, and Android 2.1. The device itself will be priced at $199 on contract (no mail-in-rebate necessary). Are any of you interested in picking up the first serious AT&T Android offering? The device will also shortly be ready on all four national US phone carriers so for those of you waiting for this device on your other network, the wait shouldn't be much longer.
