As mentioned before, Sony plans to bring 3D technology to it's PS3 and the first evidence is now out there with news of it's firmware update which shows 3D being implemented. Although it isn't ready for the public just yet, a debug build of the 3.20 firmware is apparently now making the rounds among developers and it includes a "3D Video Output" options in the settings (which is evident in the image courtesy of VG247.) There is no word on the exact release date for the firmware but speculation still says it should be out and about sometime this summer. Looks like things are moving along as planned for Sony and this should really step up the market a notch in terms of 3D implementation for home devices.
