For those of you who don't know what QuakeCon is, it is a media event that is held by id Software, Bethesda SoftWork, and their parent company ZeniMax Media Inc. Gamers from all over the country come to one location with their friends to form one giant gaming network, see cool new technology, hear about games in development, and compete in world-class tournaments.
QuakeCon 2010 was announced today and it will be taking place at Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas,Texas from August 12 to August 15. The event is free for all attendees courtesy of id and Bethesda as well as the QuakeCon volunteer staff and the 2010 event sponsors and exhibitors. Mark your calendars and get ready!
