Apple iPad USB Charging Issues

iPad has only been out for a few hours, and we’ve already started hearing complaints about charging the device via USB.

Reports from various sources confirm that charging the iPad via USB only works with –

1. The wall charger that comes with this iPad.
2. USB Port on iMac Desktop or MacBook Pro

iPad charging does not work with Apple's wired keyboards attached to the Mac, USB ports on PC , or USB hubs. Apple support confirms that the device was designed to be charged with the wall plug that included with the device.
