iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 2: Smooth App Switching [Video Demo]

Apple seeded the 2nd Beta of iPhone OS 4.0 build 8a248c along with the iPhone SDK 4 beta 2 10M2240 build, which is available to the registered developers to download through the Apple’s developer site.

IMPORTANT: you’ll need your device UDID registered via dev’s account in order to activate the beta.

One of the new features introduced in iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 is the smooth app switching animation for multitasking. In iPhone Os 4.0, you can switch between apps running in the background by double clicking the Home button. A horizontal swipeable dock will appear from where you can select the app you wanna switch to.
