Wi-Fi Sync App Now Compatible With Windows And iPad

We recently posted about wireless sync made available on the iPhone via Wi-Fi Sync. The app was rejected by Apple's AppStore but, was made available to the mass via Cydia only for jailbroken iPhones.

Sources have informed us that now Wi-Fi Sync is now compatible with iPad's and all flavors of Windows (XP, Vista, and Windows 7).

Wi-Fi Sync enables wireless syncing with iTunes and let you Sync whatever you like to just like USB connection. here’s how it works:


  1. Your iPhone / iPod Touch must be jailbroken. If you haven’t done so, follow our guide here.
  2. Download and install the app for Mac OS X + Windows to use Wi-Fi Sync.
  3. Download and install the WiFi Sync on your iPhone / iPod Touch /iPad from the Cydia Store.
  4. It’ll appear in iTunes’ list of connected devices
  5. Now you can sync music, apps, photos, contacts and everything else wirelessly just as if it were plugged in via USB.
