No 'Immediate' Plans For The iPhone - Verizon

Beet.tv managed to pin down Verizon Wireless spokesman John Johnson - Check out the video interview below:

Some of the highlights of the interview included: "No plans to carry the iPhone in the immediate future," Johnson said, "but you've got to look at the incredible excitement around the Android devices. Johnson tells everyone that the company is keen on the Android device and that it will introduce several new models for devices this year, some of which will be abel to record high quality video with HDMI like outputs. He also mentions that Verizon will introduce it's 4G network to 25-30 U.S markets this year. It seems that he didn't want to get specific when mentioning some of the things the company plans on doing because he mentioned new "devices that connect to devices, such as the USB-connected tongles and the like," while also mentioning release of 4G handsets early next year.
