Earlier we posted about Spirit2Pwn, which has now been deemed unofficial. The app has been reported to work by many users but is "fake" in the sense that GoJohnnyBoi is NOT the creator of the app. The description actually has a poor choice of words and according to msft.guy and GoJohnnyBoi, they "wrote the open source code to flash firmware images into nor, which is possibly what the author of this package meant".
The tool itself isn't "fake" but it is however wrongly credited and it also borrows Apple code, therefore making it something that isn't allowed legally to be used. Users have been confirming it working but GoJohnnyBoi should not be accused of anything here basically since he hasn't released it. If you need Spirit compatibility, try using Sn0wbreeze 1.6.2, which is the recently updated version of the utility tool updated to have compatibility for the Spirit jailbreak.
