SanDisk announced on their site that something big is coming March 23rd, something so big they even used an inflatable superhero in its honor. No one has a clear idea what it is that SanDisk plans on revealing. The company has already introduced 64GB SDXC cards, the G3 SSD, the slotRadio, and they have generally exploited NAND in every way imaginable. The company doesn't plan on introducing 128GB chips until 2011 and rewritable 3D flash technology is still a few years away. All that being said, SanDisk does have some experience in the portable audio/video industry as well and it could be an announcement for that market.
What could a memory manufacturer possibly plan for that warrants a teaser page? If you have any thoughts or ideas on what it could be let us know.
