Apple iPhone 4 Sold Out In 24 Hours Despite Pre-Order Issues

Although both Apple and AT&T had several issues yesterday with iPhone 4 pre-orders, multiple sources claim that AT&T has sold all the iPhone 4s that were available for launch day. Currently, Apple's Online Stores show the earliest delivery date as July 2nd if you pre-order an iPhone 4 at this time. Here is what popular news sources BGR and Engadget had to say about the matter:

BGR mentioned:
We’ve been able to confirm with multiple sources that all of the AT&T pre-order iPhones have been spoken for.Anyone who placed an order after 1:30pm Pacific can expect to get their iPhone 4 between June 25th and July 5th.
AT&T sent the following statement to Engadget:
"Because of the incredible interest in iPhone 4, today was the busiest online sales day in AT&T history. As of Tuesday afternoon, customers who preorder iPhone 4 moving forward will receive their device on June 25 or later, depending on when the order is placed. We'll email customers with confirmation once their order is placed, and again when it ships. In addition, we will have devices available on a first-come, first-serve basis in our stores beginning on June 24."
If you have already pre-ordered your iPhone 4 by going to AT&T's retail stores then we suggest you call the store and get a confirmation on the delivery date, especially if their systems were down when you went to their store. If you are still hell-bent on getting the iPhone 4, it looks like you are out of luck for getting it on launch day, apparently the demand was much higher then expected. Did you get the chance to successfully pre-order your iPhone 4? Or did you face several problems as well? Share your experience in the comments below!
