Amazon Next In Line To Sell iPad

Apple and BestBuy were the only retailer's announced to sell the iPad tablet on launch date, as per 9to5Mac Amazon is the next retailer in line to sell the iPad. They also suggested that the display of Amazon placeholder indicates that Amazon is preparing for sale of the iPad. There are six models listed on the place holder, however this device is not available for order at the moment. When availability of this device becomes known consumers may possibly get email notification.

Information on the placeholder page revealed that Amazon will only ship iPads to the US, international orders are on hold for now. There is also some reviews made by people who has never seen or touch the iPad. This will be a great source of revenue for Amazon despite the fact that it puts the iPad in direct competition with the Kindle. It's a great move on Amazon part to sell the iPad since its the hottest gadget to launch in 2010 so far. This will take Amazon to newer heights and revamped Amazon's Computer & Accessories list.

Amazon has taken it a step further and has decided to sell Kindle books through a iPad Kindle app. Basically the more iPads that is sold the more Amazon pockets get thicker. In other Apple/Amazon news, Amazon has also disclose its Kindle for Mac desktop app.
