Although not official yet, an Apple analyst named Daniel Tello (aka, Deagol) has extrapolated numbers for Apple web order for the upcoming iPad and not only came up with numbers of 120,000 total iPad sales for the first day but showed that the sales slowed down to 152,000 after the first 72 hours (this number didn't include the iPads reserved for pick-up). Tello ended up telling Fortune, "My best guess, although very tentative given the early stage and few data we have so far, would be that they hit the 1 million unit milestone by the second week after it ships." For those of you who kept track of the iPhone, it took the iPhone 74 days to hit 1 million. If Tello's predictions turn out to be true, it will be quite an accomplishment considering only 3 to 4 million tablets are sold in a given year. Pretty impressive if you ask us.
