Thieves Targeting Apple Devices For Quick Cash

Everyone knows that thieves have a keen eye for Apple product's, especially after seeing those white earbuds which scream "I am carrying an expensive Apple device, mug me!" iPhones and iPods were too hard for many to resist and now the iPads are joining the ranks. The New York Post reports that the West Side Apple Stoer was robbed of iPads twice in the last week. Both times, thieves snagged boxed iPads as they were being unloaded from a delivery truck in broad daylight, picking up as many as five at a time while the driver was looking away and sprinting from the scene shortly after.

We know that the iPad is a hot product from all the sales figures announced. Employees at the store have increased their security to prevent future encounters from occurring but monitoring shipments is usually very tricky, as the employees dont know when the new iPads or other Apple products will arrive. Everyone who walks around and uses Apple products often should keep an eye out and be aware of their surroundings to make sure their iDevice never gets stolen.
